Michel Nnamdi Ezeh is the Director of Music Studies at Convenant Orchestra School of Music, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.

Michael Nnamdi Ezeh was born on 25th December, 1985 in Onitsha, Anambra state, Nigeria; to the family of Engr. and Mrs. Beneth Chucks Ezeonyeodili, of the Iruowelle Villiage in Awka Etiti, Idemili south local government area of Anambra State. He had his Elementary Education in the same state with a shuttle between states for his secondary and Higher Education. He studied Music Theories Education with the Royal Academy of Music London as a Nigerian distant student on scholarship from the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, having his exams with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) London. He finished in June 2005 and was certified in 2006 with a Distinction (First Class) in Music Theories. He got a Licentiate in performance Artistry (Orchestration) in 2008 and a post Theory Studies in Music Psychology and Research making him the first Nigerian Graduate of psycho-musicology in 2009.
Micael studied Linguistics at the Ebonyi state University as a Part-Time student. He taught at various Music bodies, Departments of Music and Church Music Ministries owned by other Churches like; the Catholic Church, Lagos (2005), the Anglican Church, Anambra State (2006), Winners Chapel Ogun State (2007), Deeper Life Ministries, Lagos State (2007-2008), Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ogun State (2008), Methodist Church, Lagos state (2008), Presbyterian Church, Uyo, Akwa Ibom (2009) and other New Generational Churches (2010-2013) all on contract base. He developed in 2012, the First Music Curriculum for Primary Music Education system in Ebonyi State since no Primary School in Ebonyi State had ever done Music as a subject from its creation as a state in 1999 and was the First Music teacher in Ebonyi state to teach Music in Jesus is Lord International Schools’ which had the first primary school that offered music as a subject since the creation of Ebonyi state in 1999.
Michael is a trained Luthier- Vilin, viola, cello and Double bass: his services have provided immense benefits to his state.
He taught Music Education-choral Music and Musicianship to 10 secondary schools in Ebonyi state and many music centres around Nigeria helping them review the modern musicianship for attaining musical values. Michael has attended 50 Educational seminars presenting papers in 20, facilitated amongst other colleagues in 15 and voluntarily participated in 15 as an invitee. He has to his credit many publications (from 2009-2013) of which some are co-authored and published both on local and foreign online journals and Many unpublished articles. He supervised a lot of music works, and Researches. He also have 10 book manuscripts used as lecture notes in various music Departments on advanced topics like; Psychomusicology, Sociomusicology, Music acoustics and Mathematics, Advanced Music theory, Harmonic relates in Music Appreciation, and his seasoned book Musiclopedia (which is going to be the Largest Music Book Inventory of music educational skills and musicianship. It is an accomplishment assisted by the Microsoft, encyclopedia and the American Psychological Association), which have now been approved to become an approved textbook by the American Psycho-musicological Association (APA) and Association of Active Music Theorist (AAMT). Though not a composer of a sort, but have composed 20 orchestra works, 5 oratorios, 10 solos, 15 secular songs for churches including Negros Spiritus and have arranged 30 works including hymns, and secured compositions of liturgical values and re-arranged 50. Micheal plays 5 music instruments including the Violin and the viola. He is also an examiner to foreign Examination bodies involving both the Trinity music school and the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music Canada. These exams are taken all over the world and in Nigeria at the Music Society of Nigeria school premises in Onikan, (MUSON) Lagos.
Michael started the first and the only Orchestra Body called the Convenant Symphony Orchestra in Ebonyi state in 2008. I raised the First Boys choir, Guitar Orchestra, Recorder Orchestra and String orchestra in Ebonyi State. I developed the First Folk Opera in Ebonyi state in 2015 titled “My Hope, is In Your Love”. Michael has raised many Ensembles for various churches and music schools and have been an active conductor across states for 14 years now.
Michael is a male soprano singer, and Opera performer, classical singer and song writer for many Nigerian Movies and drama. Michael's Educational view is to Blend Classical with Contemporary Music. Micheal lead the Jesus is Lord international school to the first Common wealth secondary school state event making them the first school to win the common wealth Music and Drama Competition at its first edition ever in the state in 2010. He also raised the first Ebonyi state university Choir and Band. Michael lectured on a part-time at the Ten strings music Institute in Lagos 2011 and now an Academic Music Director of the Convenant Orchestra School of Music, COSMU Ebonyi state, which is privately owned. IMichael is a Music Educator, an Orchestrator, writer and a Musicologist. The first Nigerian to write works on Organology, Sociomusicology, psycho-musicology, Music Economics and Marketing, Compu-soft Musicology and more…. Michael runs a Music scholarship system that admits 30 young Musicians in Ebonyi state to study various aspects of music freely every year under the Convenant Orchestra School of Music. He trained the first Primary and Secondary School to have an Orchestra in this state- Godis primary School Orchestra and the Twelve Apostles college orchestra. In 2015 he was the first Music Teacher to Hold the First Secondary School Music Concert which was a Boost to Music education in Schools. Michael trained the first set of students that Took the Trinity, ABRSM and Muson exams in Ebonyi state. Michael's student was the first Since the creation of Ebonyi state to take Music in Senior certificate Exam in Ebonyi State. He has developed his exam system which is 5 Years old since 2014 similar to the world exam types that is used to encourage Music Education in Ebonyi State amongst various youths- this year, they are extending it to secondary schools.

He organizes 5 Musical concerts under the school of Music at different Levels every year (Strings concert, Handel Concert of Solos, Evening of Hymns, The passion of Christ and festival of Music).
In Michael's own words: "My Musical beliefs is very simple. Music Education is a Life Style. Until Musicianship is highly improved like in Southwestern State, I will keep working."
